I got to finally meet Floridian Rattler Gator--also known as J.B. White--when he visited Southern California this past weekend for NFL Playoff weekend. We had a long lunch during which we solved all the problems in the US. The solution? Build a bunker.
J.B. has this trustworthy persona that makes you spill your guts--so he knows almost all of my business. Therefore, you could probably pay him to tell some of my secrets. (Just trying help a brutha get paid, J.B. lol)
There's one thing we talked about which I'd like to share. J.B. says that an effective, verbalized, concise counterargument to the idea that "blackness" is a thought process can't be formulated. With words and argument being pretty much embedded in my DNA, I say that it can.
To clarify, he's not saying that the concept of blackness-as-thought-process isn't ridiculous. He merely thinks that there's no counter which could stop that stupidity cold in its tracks.
What do you think?
An egg is invulnerable if you give up before even *trying* to break it.

OT, Juliette, but I ordered a book a while ago. I don't know when the orders will process and ship, but in the interrim (during December), the credit card I used when I made the purchase was stolen! So, it has been terminated. I apologize for any inconvenience it caused you. Please let me know when the books will be available, and I will attempt to purchase one again. Thanks!
