All Moonbattery is screeching in protest and in...something else.
Can you smell that? I can. There's not enough Right Guard in the world to hide it.
I can't even begin to put down all of the unhinged vitriol that John McCain's choice of running mate has provoked in the hard doctrinaire right-to-death Leftists. And, fortunately for me, I don't have to since Jeff Goldstein has done it. Who knew that the prospect of a normal, principled woman politician with a normal family becoming vice president could arouse such fear? And the two things about Governor Sarah Palin which seem to bring out the most foaming at the mouth? Her physical attractiveness and the fact that she chose not to abort her youngest son--she knew that the baby had Down Syndrome long before he was born.
Leftists say that a woman has the choice to decide whether to allow her baby to be born and tell us that looks don't matter. Well I'm guessing that they forgot to add a couple of standard caveats: their axioms only apply to ugly Democrat women who make the "correct" choice. (Actually that last part is sort of incorrect; to Leftists, any choice made by a Republican is a wrong choice regardless of whether that choice coincides with Left ideology or not.)
I just may vote in November.
AN EVEN BETTER INDICATION: One thing that I haven't seen mentioned: won't it be great to see how much the Islamists just hate Palin? It certainly wouldn't be the first time that the Jihadists and the moonbats had an identical opinion.
Well said, J. The wailing, gnashing of teeth and manufacturing of scandal and conspiracy is not for nothing. While Palin's performance in campaign mode is still to be decided, it's obvious the Left recognizes the potential here.

I just may vote in November.
I decided the day the choice was announced. If it means I'm also voting for McTigh, I can survive that.

The next day I sent the campaign $25, and today I sent another $25.
I was going to write in Fred Thompson in November.

Thanks for the PW link. Someone had to catalogue all the smears in one place.
I have been so apathetic about politics for so long. I can't believe how energized I am by Palin. It's great. I just hope she and her family can withstand the crap that will be thrown at them between now and November.

From reply by commenter to post on AJ Strata's Strata-Sphere blog "Obama/Democrat/Media Pretzel Logic Misses The Point On Palin - She IS America"
--------------------------------------------------------------
But do you know how I know, that she was EXACTLY not only
the right pick for McCain, but for the country?
It’s very simple: because all the Anti-American/Pro-Jihadi
Delusional Democratic Leftwing Nutbags, are going absolutely.
Freaking. Barking. At. The. Moon. Bat. Sh*t. CRAZY!
That’s all the proof I need, ever!
--------------------------------------------------------------
Works for me, as well :-)

This move was so brilliant, so magnificently..dare I say it.. Rovian..and yet there is no Karl Rove working at the McCain camp.
I have to admit, I'm enthused about this campaign and I have quite the girl crush on Sarah Barracuda.

A wonderful choice for VP but I also am concerned at the hate that is going to be thrown at her and her family!?
Indeed, if the first 48 hours are any indication , it will be brutal!
Fine if you disagree with her policies but the stuff coming out about her and her family already is appalling!

I cannot escape the feeling that somewhere in the world, a Muslim is offended by McCain's choice of running mates.
Such is the will of Allah.

Let's see, she didn't attend an Ivy League school, her husband belongs to a union, she has working class tastes and hobbies, and she isn't wealthy -- in other words, she's everything Democrats like to talk up in their candidates. That must rankle, too.

Interesting. So, because of diversity, Geraldine Ferraro was the last ever Democratic nominee for President or Vice President...

yeah, change, ... Mccain's been a senator for decades - the ultmate insider.
Mavrick? are you f'ng out of your minds. You geniuses are voting for an insider of the party that has lost 700k jobs on their watch w/no end in site- and mccain was on board with about every stupid decision your draft dodging leader made.
yeah right, change
can you imagine a party getting a 3rd chance after the utter disaster of a country and economy, they've created.
maybe it will take complete economic collapse for real change to occur
you all need mental help

Fear, itself! How you doin'?

Obama picked a man who's been in the Senate LONGER than John McCain. Combined, the Obama/Biden ticket has 38 years in the Senate. How refreshing.
Today, Obama said Palin had taken earmarks as Governor of Alaska, so that's not change....somehow forgetting that he's taken $330 million dollars in 112 earmarks. Roughly 1 million dollars per day for every day he's been in the Senate.
He counts on democrats to be uninformed, or dazzled by his smile or something...confident that the press will never ask him anything that might contradict him or ruin his day.

baldi, what have you been smoking? The election is not for VP, it's for pres.
Mccain is another Booosh - he admits that he will continue boosh's policies So what is the change? give us some policy differences. - yeah , i didnt think so- you empty minded douchebag.
R's record: collapsing stock market, collapsing realestate market, failing financial institutions bankrupt treasury, record debt, record defecit, 2 failed wars, US dollars so weak india won't take them, 700k lost jobs and no end in sight, as for security, remember who was "in charge on 9-11.
and your solution is - more of the same
pathetic
