UPDATE: She does, suspending her campaign.
I endorse him and throw my full support behind him.
Today I am standing with Senator Obama to say "yes we can!"She's making a strong endorsement of her former opponent, repeating over and over again that Obama should be elected president and why.
UPDATE: The would-have-been 44th president shows some emotion.

UPDATE: My friend, Entelechy, reminds us that a suspension of the Clinton campaign--rather than a cessation--means that the senator can hold onto her pledged delegates until the Democrat Convention in August.
The deal has been struck, though we may not know the final price until January. The down payment to Clinton will be her campaign debts--she will have to deliver on the stump to get the rest.

That's pretty obvious.

I, for one, would rather never know what the final price was.

You would think it's obvious, but I've been noisily making the point for weeks that Clinton would not drop out just because she couldn't win, that she would continue to gather "chips" (delegates) to force a better end-game deal even if she could not possibly win the nomination. That she would not suspend her campaign until the primaries were over and she knew exactly what total convention/electorate leverage she had for bargaining. That she would show a political profit for her run, win or lose.
And she did just that, and she's keeping her delegates as well for convention leverage on platform issues and the quadrennial power shuffle.

To me, Bill looks like a man trying not to laugh out loud while trying to hold a 'sorrowful' face.

Heh. Indeed. Look at his eyes.
