The UK’s Sun has a piece on North Korea as seen by photo journalist Oliver Harvey. To those who thought communism was dead, I point you to one of its zombie incarnations.
Harvey was briefly detained for taking unauthorized photos while touring the nightmarish country. But if Little Kim’s North Korea is so great, why wouldn’t the dictator want the world to see photos of the Communist Utopia? Why wouldn’t he want the world to see Marxist ideology taken to its logical conclusion and made flesh?
Observers say that Kim is insane, but is he? Seems to me that crazy people don't try to hide the manifestations of their illness; they don't try to hide their crazy because they don't know that their crazy is wrong.
But, I guess I’m being too logical again.
Anyway, here’s a satellite photo of the Koreas lifted from American Digest.
Look at that. Do you know how cold it gets in that part of the world?
Gerard says that the lone spot of light in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is Dear Leader’s big screen TV. I say that it’s his access to the Underworld.

No wonder the liberals want to appease this guy. He is their model for combating the global warming crisis. If Al Gore has his way, the US would look the same - all dark except for certain elites who "need" and "deserve" energy and who "know what's best" for the rest of us.

This picture tells you all you need to know about communism. I had a year in 2nd Infantry Division back when we were still running DMZ patrols. Cold is the word, all right, and I'm sure that numbers of people have frozen to death in Kim's worker's paradise this winter.
