BTW, Walter, I've handled commenters who behave like Charles Wilson in two ways, demonstrated here and here. How do you think I should handle him? (Actually, I have a third way in mind; a combination of the two, plus.)

Charles doesn't seem to be coming from a position of good faith nor of idealistic, youthful ignorance. He's running on hate. I'd guess that he's not educable.

So, I'd go with the ruthless smackdown. :)

Smackdown, then a possible banning, due to a high level of conspiracy and hatefulness towards another person. When he threw in a Jeff Gannon reference, then I knew he was a little too crackpot.

Plus, their is no need to give someone insulting and denigrating your blog, your name, and your faith a soapbox.
