The left photo is of my mom, circa 1955--when she was thirteen--and the other was taken by me in 2003.
Though I am the spirit and image of my father, here's hoping that I got a little of those non-aging genes. Happy Mother's Day, Mom! And don't let those wild grandchildren of yours do what your wild daughters failed to do--wear you down. Love ya.
Damn. Black don't crack. Hell, I'd put up with a little voter disenfranchisement for some of those genes!
