I participated in one of John Hawkins' perennial surveys. In this one he asks conservative bloggers which personalities on the right were their favorites. Here's my list:
George W. Bush
Donald Rumsfeld
Norm Coleman
Dennis Prager
Laura Ingraham
Thomas Sowell
Charles Krauthammer
Jeff Goldstein
Francis W. Poretto
Connie du Toit
Brit Hume
I left off people like Victor Davis Hanson, Charles Johnson and Michael Totten because they are not on the right per se; they are disaffected Liberals.
The most humorous/bizarre thing in the response to John's results was the immediate hue and cry against the alleged Christianity of persons picked. From the first comment: "I think [it] would make Jesus wince when they call themselves 'Christians'."
Somehow I don't think Charles Krauthammer, Dennis Prager, Jeff Goldstein (Jews) or Connie du Toit (an atheist) would loose any sleep over that pronouncement.
UPDATE:
Dang! I can't believe I left out Mark Steyn!
UPDATE: To everybody else: it's not that I love these people more that I love you. It's just that I agree with these people more than I agree with you. Therefore, "favorite" in my judgement for this poll means "in agreement," rather than good, better or best.
Thank you. I agree with you, too.

That was a tough survey. I tried to keep the number of columnists down, because there was a separate survey on columnists. I certainly had a bunch of radio people on there, including Prager and Medved.
And I managed to keep it down to one blogger (another Jeff).
And I clean forgot Sowell, who's the intellectual equivalent of buried treasure. At least I remembered the President ;)

Jeez, Juliette, I'm overwhelmed. Thank you. You're too kind.

I would have to add Jonah Goldberg. His humor and intellect are well balanced.

another columnist to add to the list { sorry] In Oregon we have
Lars Larson . The station is based in ultra liberal Portland but we get it here ,to the east, He's got his work cut-out, and does a great job at shutting down the resident morons. I listen to it more for laughs than news.
