Lame excuses for not blogging:
Bad:
• Kerry makes me tired.
• Household plumbing problems.
• It feels as though I broke my right little toe (even putting the covers on it hurts).
Good:
• Working, if only in a temporary position (yes! four hours on swing shift). I will limp in there this evening. See you tomorrow.
O poor toe! I killed my toe about a year ago, I was ready to give up the ghost until my Doctor insisted I come in for ultrasound treatment. I didnt want to, I could barely hobble, much less drive, and it hurt so bad I felt sick to my stomach. But they put my foot in a bucket of water and waved the ultra sound wand around and not only did the bruise disappear before my eyes but the pain was erased! I call it the Miracle of the Toe. There's no need to suffer, Sweety. Demand ultrasound from your healthcare provider. I can give you my Doctor's # if yours won't help.
And I'm tired of Kerry too. I waited until I could make fun of him before I had the oomph to chime in.

Tsk, any excuse... I'm very disappointed in you, young lady... ;)
(Big congrats on the job, though.)

Sorry about the toe. I swear he Mrs. has broken near all of hers. I joke w/her that I'm gonna buy her steel toed slippers.
Good to hear you're back to work. I'm doing temp too, 6 month contract with a wireless company. A lot less than what I used to make, but it's a paycheck. I got swing too, 10 hour shift, 4 days a week. Not much time for blogging except Monday and Tuesday when I'm off.

For relatively tiny body parts, those toes sure are important. I remember back in school getting a terrible toe injury out on the soccer field. Hobbled around for a week, toe was three times normal size and all discolored... YECH!
Anyway, there are no bad excuses for not blogging, while there are no excuses for blogging BADLY...

My toe problems came from gout, which is one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. I hope it ain't that.

WTG on the job.
Sorry to hear about the toe. Is that the one on the q,a,z side or the p,;,/ side? I can see how the left one would make blogging tough.

I stubbed my left ring(?)toe bad too (and no I don't wear toerings!). Maybe it came from trying to establish a toehold on Kerrys campaign strategy. It seems like the Clinton advisers may have suggested that Kerry try to narrow the "window of outrage" by putting out a heavier stream of opinions worthy of outrage. That way his critics have less time to pick apart one before another is served up. I also strongly second teal maries advice about ultrasound treatment. Wish I could offer a good referral for your plumbing problems, heck, wish I was close enough to fix them for you, overcharge your landlord and split the proceeds (in the case your a renter like me). Congrats on the temp position, prayers for increasing success.

But sweetie, you gotta think of us! I can't go a day without something from you. That must be affecting me somehow. The only way to help me is for you to blog every waking minute!!!!
Smooches,
Mike

Juliette,
Congrats on the job, and sorry about the toe. Hope your plumbing problems can be fixed cheap (is there any such thing as a cheap plumbing repair?).
Gosh I have spent most of my meager blog reading and commenting time over at LaShawn's, and hadn't checked yours in a few days. I was missing out on some good posts! I won't make that mistake again. I'll just have to make more time.

Juliette, prayers for your toe. For such a small part of our bodies, the disruption of their function can cause serious pain. Be patient- a broken toe takes a long time to heal (didn't read the other comments, but have you taped it to the other toe(s)? That helped me tremendously).
I agree, Kerry makes me tired and a little dizzy.
P.S. I love the picture of you up there- what a brillant and radiant smile :D

Suck it up and blog, soldier.
Would a toe have stopped us from fighting the Germans after they bombed Pearl Harbor?

Tell your toe to get well soon!
