A Battle in the War

Now here’s some unabashed spinning from me. We'll see how accurate it is as time goes by and more facts are revealed.

In Kosovo, UN “peacekeepers” from Jordan likely got tired of a few of us mouthy American women and shot at them, killing two. Their sistren had the last word, however. One Jordanian was killed and the rest are in custody.

Voice of America and Reuters say it was the result of an argument about Iraq.

But the New York Times (registration required) says that the UN claims that no words were exchanged between the two groups before the exchange of gunfire.

You know what I think. “Put a burka on ‘em or a bullet in ‘em,” likely went through those minds. Something to look forward to, should an appeasement government be elected.
